Welcome to my page!

This Fall, I will be on the job market for postdoctoral positions. I am currently open to presenting talks (seminars/colloquia) on my research. Please check out my CV and contact me if you are interested in my work.

About Me

I am a fifth year astronomy PhD candidate at The Ohio State University working with Professor Ji Wang on retrievals and atmospheric characterization of intermediate-mass brown dwarfs and directly imaged exoplanets with ground-based data. I am also currenly a Pre-Doctoral Fellow (Temporary Research Analyst) at the Flatiron Institute at the Center for Computational Astrophysics . I am working with Megan Bedell on stellar spectroscopy analysis of FGK host stars of brown dwarfs. Alongside this, I work with Dr. Jackie Faherty on retrievals of planetary-mass objects and brown dwarfs to understand their formation pathways. I am a former fellow in the LSSTC Data Science Fellowship Program. I received my M.A. in Astronomy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019 and my B.S. in Physics with a minor in mathematics from The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) in 2015.

Broadly, I am interested in brown dwarf and exoplanet atmospheric characterization. My main research goals are to explore the atmospheric composition, formation pathways and mechanisms of directly imaged exoplanets and brown dwarfs via observational and computational techniques. Additionally, I study the abundances of solar-like stars with substellar companions to compliment and anchor retrieval analysis.
